Crystal Communication
I am sharing this as part of a workshop, in order to inspire other people and share my personal experiences and ideas about our friends, healing crystals and the ways we receive healing energy from them.
Crystal healing therapy as a movement has gone in and out of fashion. Now again, the area is slightly out of popularity due to the fact of money being scarce with the impending economic disaster due to the global pandemic.
More than ever, however, we need crystals and they, need us.
Having shared my life with crystals from the age of 17, my understanding and appreciation of these magical rocks along with the healing properties they posess has continued to grow.
My first crystal awareness guide to the metaphysical healing properties of crystals and gemstones came from a chart produced by Legion Of Light Mount Shasta USA, dated 1987. I still have this wonderful chart today. It is primarily a medical benefits guide detailing the healing effects on the body and mind of each crystal. The chart is quite specific about which body organ or system and what area of our feelings, perception and personality are improved by each crystal. The chart is only a tiny fraction of the information now known about the healing properties of crystals.
Today, I am going to add to this body of knowledge with my personal experiences and insights from many years of connection with these amazing objects of our earths core.
What are crystals really?
Rocks minerals crystals and gemstones are amazing conduits of healing energy, all of us can benefit from.
I love crystals rocks and minerals so much, I started my own healing stone jewellery design small business, which has now been in operation since 2014 and still going. The time I spend around the crystals and gems making jewellery items to share, gives me both enjoyment and healing.
Any talk about the healing properties of crystals and their obvious therapuetic communication abilities, would not be complete without a rundown on the basic facts of the healing stone crystal world.
Crystals minerals rocks and gemstones as we know them, are formed by natural processes within the earths core, the result of hundreds of years, of geological activity and processes. They are pushed out of volcanoes or uncovered through earth activity, erosion, wind, tectonic movement or humans busily digging up the earths surface or exploring caverns.
Crystals and rocks have been through alot more metamorphoses than any human superhero could ever withstand. Crystals really are amazing creations which we should rightly consider other-wordly and well travelled.
In essence every rock crystal or mineral deposit discovered is a package of potential healing energy and metaphysical power, we should have respect for. Crystals and rocks are a different energetic composition to living things, but still a dense package of unique atoms and molecules in varying formations.
Crystals are energetically highly similar in their energetic signature to that of trees, but they are non living. We are living and made of nearly 75% water, with relatively fragile interconnecting cells and tissues. Crystals however are solid and dense and their structure by comparison is immortal and relatively indestructable.
We are merely insects by comparison to the energetic force of a crystal and we have much less longevity. We live life in a completely different (and fast) timelime, being alive for about 75years. Whereas crystals take hundreds of years just to form and can then remain intact for hundreds of years more. Just being in the presence of crystals is therefore a gift for both crystals and for us. Not forgetting those crystals which have travelled from deep space on meteorites. (It must get lonely and boring being a crystal at times, yes?)
Because crystals are formed as parts of the earth’s crust, it is my beleif they are a support of life on earth, and balance the materials of the crust and atmosphere. Esoterically speaking, I believe they have only positive benefits for us and that they do not hold any evil spirits within them, they have no intention to cause anyone harm. If there were "spirits" attached to crystals then they must be very old, patient souls with masses of information about life and the earth stored within them. We can always learn something from a crystal!
Researchers, like those from Legion Of Light at Mount Shasta USA in 1987, spent many hours with different crystals to identify all the impacts and healing effects of each crystal type in order to prepare their guide to share with all of us. They explained that each unique blend of minerals in each crystal, contains a specific healing signature or vibration, we can access for our own healing simply by being in their presence.
Most crystal therapists advise that in order to harness the healing properties of crystals for our own life, there are several procedures that must be followed. This makes sense and it is respectful that we make an effort to work on our relationship with our crystals in order to receive healing energy from them. They will be around alot longer than us. Crystal enthusiasts recommend we develop our connection to our crystals by providing them a place in our daily life by;
- holding them
- gazing at them
- sitting with them
- wearing them or keeping them near
- completing crystal care rituals and other rituals
- including them in our faith and worship activities
- imprinting our goals hopes and dreams onto them through talking to them verbally or non verbally
- visualising them playing a part in our healing
- using our faith and belief in them, to help us achieve our goals
And most importantly enabling them to transmit the healing properties they posess and their positive energetic signatures, to us. We do this by spending time in our connection with our crystals or other crystals; those that belong to other people, those crystals we see in other places, or those crystals that are freely accessible to us in nature and on the internet. I believe that even by viewing a photo of a crystal, you can gain access to its healing properties. Crystals do not belong to anyone forever and it's my belief they should be shared and held and looked on by everyone.
Being in connection with these amazing creations, often happens by simply wearing them in our jewellery. We can easily receive healing benefits from crystals through wearing them enabling their energy to blend with our own. Crystal healing energy can effect our mind, thinking patterns, energy levels, aura, and overall physical health and vitality. Many people use crystals in their spiritual practices to open their chakras and develop their healing abilities.
So how do crystals “communicate”??
Crystals naturally effect living things around them, including us, just by being present with their unique formation of minerals fused together in a solid form originating from the earths core.
Just being present influencing the air and environment around them is one of many ways crystals "communicate" with us.
Crystals can also send us words, visions, feelings or healing effects directly to our body systems, mind, emotions and aura.
The greatest amounts of communication from crystals occurs when we are connected to them, have activated them to work with us and we have attuned their energy to our own.
It is my belief that crystals retain energetic impressions, because they are made of combinations of minerals fused into a dense physical matrix that is largely indestructable. This is my evidence that crystals do hold the healing properties claimed. It is great to look up information about the healing effects "to watch out for" when attuning to a new crystal in your collection. I always try to be extra mindful as to how my feelings and health change while engaging with crystals.
I have personally experienced many forms of communication from crystals. I have received healing, aura balancing, enhancing of chakra energy areas, improvement of intuition and communication skills, confidence boosting and cessation of pain in my body including curing headaches, back aches, eyesight problems, nausea and stopping other chronic pain, grief and insomnia. I have received actual "words" from different crystals, when I held or chose the crystal and it "sent a word" or "spoke" to me. (These words appeared in my mind, however, they were not audible).
A rose quartz crystal communicated to me that it intended "to find me a person to love!", my labradorite heart crystal communicated "I’d like to help you", my blue lace agate ball communicated that it would like "to help me learn levitation". The blue lace agate ball then showed me what was possible when, while in my usually very heavy handbag, it levitated the hand bag making it seem much lighter to carry. Sweet huh?
My yellow calcite ball changed colour after a meditation session and transmitted a message from an alien spirit from a Galaxy, at the other end of the universe, which was extremely exciting for me!. The message from the alien spirit was about the sadness of alien life from that Galaxy, who were looking forward to coming to earth to meet us and share their technologies.
The spirit explained that they were very disappointed by events on earth and that they "cannot arrive in a formal way until the earth is settled and at peace". (Yes, don’t worry, I have since told a few people about that one). Since then the yellow calcite ball glows happily when placed in a correct environment, ie. It is like a spiritual environment checker, and gives me indication of its approval or disapproval by the level of its radiance.
Crystals do not need to be carved into any particular shape to be able to transmit their healing energetic patterns.
However it is convenient for us that crystals are available with smoothed polished surfaces and in every shape we care to imagine. I am convinced that the energetic resonance of a crystal is increased when they have been faceted and carved. I base this on my experience with a faceted amethyst pendant I got from Wallace Bishop jewellers.
One early morning, during a spectacular sunrise at the Gold Coast, Australia, the amethyst crystal in the pendant, literally opened into my palm as I was holding it emitting a beam of violet coloured energy I could feel as though it was electricity. Amazing !!
Another experience, after an entire night holding my large heart shaped labradorite to activate it, the crystal finally emitted a series of balancing pulses across my palm for about 45seconds. The pulses felt like mini electrical bursts and they occurred at 5 separate areas on the surface of my palm at once. The pulses were intriguing to me as though they were "morse code" but were not strong enough to be painful in any way. I had asked the crystal to share any enegry it felt I needed. There was no other interaction during the night in which I slept very well . The labradorite may have helped me have that great sleep. After the 7 hour sleep, the pulses were likely to have been part of the activation of the labradorites store of particular healing energy shared to me during the bonding experience. Whatever it was doing, I felt it meant me good rather than harm and I felt great as well.
In my jewellery making activities, I have created many wonderful healing stone jewellery pieces and got to try them for myself. It has been such an enjoyable experience to work with healing stones and crystals to make wearable healing jewellery. One of my favourite items was a crown chakra activating necklace with turquoise and blue lace agate. When I wore this necklace my crown chakra, third eye chakra and throat chakra became synchronised and aligned connecting me to my souls core. I felt confident and empowered to speak up when wearing that necklace, and found I had a strong urge to use my singing voice too.
